Pepper Relish
Grind peppers and onions. drain off juice. Mix ground or powdered mustard with vinegar. Mix all ingredients together and cook for 1/2 hour.

Cucumber Sweet Pickles
Wash cucumbers and wipe them dry. Dissolve salt in 1 gallon cold water and pour over cucumbers. Let stand 24 hours and drain.

Emergency Pickles
It is the easiest recipe to follow, it is the fastest to make, and you can put anything from the garden in it. The recipe book called it "End of the Garden Pickle." The first time I used it was for an emergency, so from then on it was Emergency Pickle."

I am looking for a canning recipe for a hot pepper salad. It has peppers, chopped garlic, and olive oil. I have searched the internet, but haven't found what I am looking for. I am hoping someone will have what I am looking for or could point me in the right direction.

Sweet Tomato Preserves Recipe
I have lost my mother's recipe for Tomato preserves, that is sweet enough for using on toast. Does anyone have a recipe you would like to share? Tomato preserves ranks at the top of my list, but I have not found a commercial one to buy. Thanks a bunch.

Cucumber Jelly
A nice and colorful condiment. Boil juice, sugar, and vinegar for 2 minutes. Add certo and bring to a boil again. Remove from heat.

Red Pepper Relish
Grind together peppers, onions and celery. Pour boiling water over this. Let stand 5 minutes. Drain and repeat once more.

Apple Pumpkin Butter
In sauce pan, mix ingredients. Simmer uncovered 1-1.5 hours till thick as pudding. Pour into sterile jars and seal. Water bath for 10 minutes at 160 degrees F.

Quick Tomato Relish
In a heavy medium saucepan bring to boil all ingredients. Stirring all the while as it comes to boil. Simmer 25 to 30 minutes or until mixture thickens, stirring often.
