Where can I find a good soup base for home canning? I want to can soups for my mom for the holidays. I know that you cannot can dairy products, so I am looking for a good base for broccoli cheddar soup and potato cheese soup.
Every time I can a non-tomato based soup, after a few weeks, the soup turns very acidic and is not edible and I have to throw it out. What am I doing wrong?
Does anyone have anyone have any canning recipes or site(s) that have canning recipes on them? When I do a search it's just too much to look through. I am specifically looking for stew and soup recipes.
