Chocolate Chip Cookies

Mix shortening, sugar, and brown sugar. Mix egg and vanilla. Mix flour, salt, and baking soda. Combine all 3 mixtures and add chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet.
