My Mom is 85 years young. Every Christmas she makes these cookies along with a few of her others. This shortbread recipe is delish! They melt in your mouth, and the recipe makes a large amount.
Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Combine all ingredients except flour in large mixer bowl. Beat at medium speed until creamy. Reduce speed to low; add flour. Beat until well mixed.
Very easy to make, and they add so much to an assortment of pretty cookies to share or enjoy yourself. Delicious with hot unsweetened tea or coffee.

I would like an easy recipe for gingerbread decorations and the icing.
Cream sugar and shortening. Add egg and molasses. Sift flour, add soda and spices and mix. Form in small balls and roll in sugar. Bake at 350 F. for 10-12 minutes.
Cream shortening, cream cheese, and sugar. Add vanilla. Mix dry things and sift in. Chill dough. Roll on floured board and cut into 3 inch squares or any way you wish.
Yummy and Quick and easy! Combine confectioners' sugar and pistachio pudding. Add cream and margarine. Knead until ingredients are thoroughly mixed. Shape mixture into 1 inch balls.
These look so pretty and can be used for Christmas or a New Years' party. It is not as sweet as some cookies.

Here's a cute no bake Santa cookie to whip up on an hours notice. Use Nutter Butter cookies from your local supermarket. Just dip top in (head end) melted white chocolate and sprinkle with red colored sugar. Dot with either a white chocolate morsel or 1/2 of a mini marshmallow for the pom pom. Let cool on parchment paper lined rack.
