There are many good quality Italian restaurants in Detroit that all make a great Olive oil based garlicky, but not sweet tasting house salad dressing.Does anyone have a recipe?
I'm looking for a salad dressing recipe from a restaurant in MI named Papa Vino's. It is their house dressing and it is for sale in the restaurant, but not on-line. I would love to make my own.
No more pricey store bought spice packages ;-) Put this in a blender with 1/2 cup vinegar (red or cider) and 1 cup vegetable or olive oil and blend until smooth.

Anyone have a salad dressing recipe similar to DeLuca's Restaurant in Detroit? I had it yesterday while in town for a funeral and they said they sold the dressing, but I forgot by the time we finished our dinner and headed home. It was a sweet vinegar and oil with basil. It was outstanding!
