Does anyone have a recipe comparable to Campbell's "Pepper Jack Soup"? My local bigbox store, the only place I could buy it has decided it won't restock it, even though they sold it as fast as they put it on the shelf.
Very creamy with lots of flavor and easy to do. Mash cooked vegetables into small pieces. Bring all ingredients, except cream, to a boil. Stir in cream and heat through.
I make my own condensed creamed soups for recipes. I take 1-1/4 cup milk, 3 -4 tbs. cornstarch mixed with 1/4 cup water (or broth). Then I add about 1/2 cup chicken stock or pureed celery or mushrooms, dash of garlic powder, salt and pepper.
