This recipe is a family favorite. It's great for evenings when I'm pressed for time and want to put a good meal on the table quickly. I just add a couple of vegetables as sides to the patties, and I have a meal in about 30 minutes.
Best Batter Recipe for Deep Frying
This recipe produces a light, crispy coating on whatever you are making. I made fish with it last (swai, my favorite fish), but it is really good for chicken nuggets, onion rings, and thinly sliced vegetables.
Marinated Salt and Vinegar Cod
Okay, not the heart healthiest recipe in the world but it's tasty and easy and at least it's not deep fried. I highly recommend the packaged Good Seasons Zesty Italian salad dressing that you mix yourself for this recipe but you can substitute any seasoned oil and vinegar type dressing if so desired.
My husband caught his first salmon the other day, but neither of us really know a good way to cook a whole salmon. Do any of you have any good methods and/or recipes?
Salmon is a favorite of mine and this recipe is very good.
I would love a simple, easy, yummy recipe for pickled trout/fish.
Are there any good salmon patty recipes?
This recipe has been in our family for generations. It is a healthy, quick-to-make dish, using salmon as its main ingredient. It makes a delicious meal when the Salmon Fritters are served with rice and a crisp green salad.
It's trendy to call salmon patties burgers now, and to charge a fin and a gill for them, but I'll stick with patties. This recipe is very economical and very easy.
Salmon is my favorite. On the grill? Even better!
Roasted Cod with Capers, Olives and Tomatoes
This is a tasty treat, easy to fix and very quick.
Mix all ingredients; put into baking dish. Bake at 300 degrees F until brown.
Sprinkle fish with salt and pepper. Mix egg yolk, honey, garlic and soy sauce. Roll fillets in mixture. Place in buttered baking dish with lid. Dot generously with butter.
I have several pollack fillets in my freezer. I thought I liked this fish, but when I cooked it last time, I decided I am not crazy about it. Does anyone have any ideas of what to do with these to sort of disguise them, maybe cooked and ground up in something?
This recipe tastes like a little bite of heaven! It's also very healthy - the fish is full of omega-3s, and the canola oil is heart-healthy. I believe substituting Ritz crackers for the usual saltines is what gives the dish its extra-special flavor.
In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, cheese, onions powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Spoon over fillets.
In a large bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Pour half into a large resealable plastic bag; add halibut. Seal bag and turn to coat.
Place a heavy nonstick skillet over a medium-high heat. Brush both side of salmon with oil. Place salmon, skin side up, in heated skillet; cook, uncovered, about 3-4 minutes or until browned.
Carol's Tuna Cakes with Lime Tarter Sauce
Tuna cakes can be dry and lack flavor. I'm so proud of this recipe because it adds a moist flavorful taste for a quick healthy meal!
Fresh of frozen fillets may be used. If frozen are used, sauce will be thinner. Combine onion, celery, and parsley. Arrange in large shallow 9x13 inch baking dish.
No matter how much a person likes and is good at cooking, there's always room for improvement and I am no exception! Here's a more refined and tastier moist, flaky version of how I originally made this dish.
