Very good salad! Simple to make and very festive!
This is an easy and delicious side dish I make especially at holiday times but other times too as I buy and freeze cranberries in the fall when they're available. Just put the package as is in the freezer then wash and use when needed.

Ideas for Using Wilted Cherries
I know from reading this forum that there are a lot of resourceful people. I have 3 pounds of sweet red cherries that I purchased that were left in the fridge. They are not spoiled, but I would not want to eat them. Can anybody please give me some simple ideas of using them?
Something my mother used to keep in the fridge a lot when I was a kid. She usually served some kind of salad or fruit at every meal.
Core apples and peel skin down 1 inch from top. Mix sugar, cinnamon, and raisins. Stuff apples with mixture; dot apples with butter. Pour water into removable liner, add apples.
Drain pineapple chunks and to the syrup add remaining ingredients. Boil 15 minutes. Strain. Add pineapple and simmer 30 minutes.
