German Potato Salad
Great potato salad recipe. Cook potatoes, cool and slice; fry bacon, drain. Brown onion in bacon fat until lightly browned. Blend in flour, sugar, salt, celery seed and pepper.

German Runzas
Another favorite of my husband. Thaw dough. Brown hamburger and add onions and spices; drain. Mix with cabbage or sauerkraut. Roll out one loaf of dough into a 12x8 inch rectangle.

German Skillet Dinner
I guess you can call this an international meal. :) I really think the only thing that makes it German is the sauerkraut!

Schnitzel with Ham and Caper Sauce
Brush chops with lemon juice; season with salt and pepper. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes; pat dry. Brown in hot vegetable oil in large skillet. Reduce heat; cover. Cook until done (20 to 25 minutes). Remove to warm platter.
