Make Your Own Recipe Box With Recycled Cardboard
My recipe file was over flowing, too full! I like to collect good recipes. I took an empty box, cut it so it is as deep as the index cards,(a little deeper than the recipe cards).

Use a Photo Album for Recipes
I have a lot of recipes that I have printed from the internet and couldn't find a place to store them. I had some of the small photo albums lying around, so I use those to store my recipes. Works great.

Recipes Printed on 8-1/2 x 11 Paper
I print a lot of recipes from the internet on 8-1/2 x 11 paper. This is an odd size for any recipe box or book holder that I have found. I would like to just fold them in half, so that I then have an 8-1/2 x 6.5 sheet. Any ideas of how I might organize them?

Software for Organizing Recipes
I need to organize my recipes on my PC. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good TNT free cookbook or recipe software? I'd like to be able to import recipes from websites as well as email them and also be able to export to email and print. Is all that possible in any of the free or shareware programs?

Dollar Store Photo Album For Recipes
I use inexpensive (dollar store) 4 x 6 photo albums to store all my favorite recipes. Works equally well for neatly typed recipes, or those recipes hastily copied from the TV screen.

Recipe Organization Software
I've managed to accumulate a lot of recipes! I'm looking for recommendations on inexpensive (possibly free?) computer software to organize and manage the recipes better. It'd be nice if I could print them out and make a shopping list, too.

Scrapbooking Recipes
When I clip recipes from catalogs, I slip them inside a scrapbook page, instead of re-writing them on a traditional recipe card. It protects the recipes and because there's so much space, I can often include a photo of the dish, if it's provided. You could also create a gift for someone by scrapbooking a special cookbook this way (a great gift for a bride of her new husband's favorite dishes, and the scrapbook could be decorated in the wedding colors).
