Turkey Asparagus Open-Faced Sandwich
Melt margarine in pan. Add flour to make creamy consistency. Add milk until thickened, then add cheese. Toast bread slices and butter them. Put turkey and asparagus on toast.
Turkey, Bacon, Cheese and Avocado Sandwiches
It's good and easy. Spread slices of bread with mayo or whatever condiment you like. On one slice of bread, pile on the turkey, bacon, and cheese. On the other slice, place the avocado and lettuce.
Combine all ingredients together in frying pan, cook on low for 1 hour. Place in containers and refrigerate at least overnight. Use in a sandwich or a appetizer on your favorite crackers.
Mix mayonnaise, mustard and honey in small bowl. Spread 1 side of each toast slice with mayonnaise mixture. Layer 4 toast slices each with turkey, avocado and second toast slice.
Not Your Usual Turkey Sandwich
Now if you are like me, you cooked a turkey that was way to big for your family. Our son in law, Jose bought us a twenty three pound bird and it was way too big, even though we fed a crowd. So for the last couple of days, we have been experimenting with turkey sandwiches.
Blend together cream cheese, orange marmalade and pecans. Spread on bottom of croissant. Add 2 deli turkey slices, spread some of the cranberry jelly and top with leaf lettuce.
This is a suggestion for leftover turkey. Melt butter in frying pan. Add water and onion. Cover. Simmer gently, stirring often, until onion is clear and soft and moisture has evaporated.
Mediterranean Turkey Meatball Sandwiches
Combine turkey, onion, oregano, mint, parsley, lemon pepper, garlic, and lemon juice. Shape into balls and cook in skillet 8-10 minutes.
Day After Thanksgiving Burritos
Starting with the tortilla, spread the cream cheese on it and then spread a coating (as much as you like) of the cranberry gel. One top of that, a layer of stuffing and then the turkey, and the top is the gravy.
Melt the butter in a skillet and cook the onion, celery and bread crumbs in it until they are golden. Stir in the turkey, salt and pepper to taste, and enough gravy or broth to make it hold together.
