I make this easy barbecue sauce that is great for summer cookouts. It works good on chicken and pork, especially ribs, and can even use it on steaks. Use the cheapest brands for all the ingredients. It tastes better than any store-bought brand.

Can be used uncooked as salsa. Chop tomatoes, peppers, and onions fine. Cook until desired thickness (I cook this 1 1/2 hours, slowly).

I know there has to be a recipe out there somewhere for making a simple dessert sauce from instant pudding. I really don't want to waste all the milk and pudding mixes experimenting. Does anyone know the secret recipe?

| Praline Ice Cream Sauce

Combine all ingredients in saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly 10 minutes or until sauce is thick and smooth. Cool slightly. Serve over vanilla ice cream.

| Fresh Tomato Sauce
|
|
Saute' garlic and onion in oil; add celery, green pepper, tomatoes, sugar, salt and water. Tie bay leaf, peppercorns and cloves in cheesecloth bag; then add. Cook slowly, uncovered, 20 minutes.
