Sweet and Spicy Nuts
Heat oven to 325 degrees F. Line baking sheet with foil. Coat with no-stick cooking spray. In a large saucepan, combine nuts, water and sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Boil and stir for 5 minutes. With a slotted spoon, carefully remove nuts. Spread on prepared baking sheet in a single layer.

Quick Caramel Corn
Pop popcorn using package directions. Add corn syrup to margarine in saucepan. Stir in sugar, mixing well. Bring to a boil. Pour over popcorn. Stir until thoroughly mixed.

Petro's
Serves one person. Layer corn chips, heated chili, onion, tomato, cheddar cheese and sour cream. This was served in the corn chip bag at the 1982 World's Fair.

Spiced Holiday Pecans
Melt butter and add seasonings. Mix thoroughly. Add pecans and toss gently until all nuts are coated. Place in shallow baking pan. Bake at 300 degrees F for 30 minutes. Turn at least once.

Jello Popcorn Balls
Take 1 cup of light corn syrup and 1/2 cup of sugar. Bring to hard boil. Add 1 small (3 oz.) box of Jello (dry) to syrup. Mix well. Pour over 4-5 Quarts of pop corn. Mixture will be HOT. Cool slightly and grease your hands. Form balls the size you like. Wrap each one in saran wrap to keep soft.

Party Mix Recipes
Does anyone have recipes for 'party mixes' that uses nuts, fruits, or cereal. My family loves the Chex party mix and would love to try some new ones. THANKS

Popcorn Goblin Gorp
In a large bowl, mix and toss all ingredients together. Serve by scooping out of bowl with dixie cups or styrofoam beverage cups. You can add or remove ingredients or add more or less of each.

Savory Popcorn Mix
Heat oven to 300 degrees F. Mix popcorn, pretzel sticks and crackers in ungreased rectangular pan (9x13 inch). Mix remaining ingredients. Drizzle over popcorn mixture; toss until evenly coated.
