Sante Fe Soup
Brown meat and onion until tender: drain. Add all other ingredients, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 2 hours.

Lentil Soup
Place lentils in large saucepan; add water to cover and let stand overnight. Drain, reserving liquid. Add water to liquid to make 6 cups. Heat salt pork in a skillet; add onions and garlic and saute' until onions are tender but not browned.

Creole Bean Soup
Soak beans overnight in 6 cups water in large saucepan. Add remaining ingredients except tomatoes. Simmer for 2 1/2 hours or until beans are very tender.

Navy or Lima Bean Soup
This recipe comes from my grandmother of many years ago. Since Mother Nature insists on send us sleet, ice rains and very cold days, today called for her soup.

Spicy Bean and Sausage Soup
Brown sausage in skillet. cut into bite sized pieces. Combine everything except the sour cream, in large pot and simmer for about an to make sure the flavors all blend well.

French White Bean Soup
In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, saute onions, leeks and garlic in olive oil for about 5 minutes over medium-high heat. Add beans, potatoes, 1/4 tsp. of thyme and 1-1/2 cups of vegetable broth; simmer 20 minutes.

Celery and White Bean Soup
In a large saucepan, heat oil until hot. Add celery, onion and carrots; cook stirring occasionally, until celery is crisp-tender, about 5 minutes. In the container of blender, place 1 can white kidney beans; puree until smooth.

Black Eyed Pea Soup
Saute onion, jalepeno (optional) and garlic in bacon grease. Add bacon and diced, drained (keep juice) tomatoes. Continue to saute for around 15 minutes. Remove ham from the bone and throw away the gross stuff (skin and fat)

Black Bean Soup
Wash and pick beans. Put them in soup kettle with water and bring to a boil. Meanwhile, saute' in butter the celery leaves, onion, carrots and celery until they just begin to brown.
