My teenage son in his infinite wisdom decided that his dad's military camouflage jacket colour was not to his liking and tried to dye it black. Is it possible to take the black dye out somehow?

You might try the rit dye remover. It would get most of it out, but not sure with black if it would remove it all.
I don't think so. It's too much dye.
