I would think that just a regular car wash would remove it? Horses often slobber on our farm truck and horse trailer and it disappears when washed.

The acid in dog slobber eats away at the clearcoat. It should be cleaned immediately when it happens, but if it's been on there a while you'll have to use a polishing compound to remove what's been etched into the clearcoat.

If that doesn't work, the only other option is to have the damaged area completely stripped and resprayed by a professional.
