Removing Dye Stains on White Washing Machine Door?

I bought some Purple Rags from Flylady.net. I did not wash them before using them. Big mistake. I used them, washed them in the sink, hung them on the door of my new white washing machine. Now I have pale purple stains on the door. I have tried bleach, and a Magic Eraser alone and with cleaner, but nothing has worked.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can remove this stain without damaging the finish on the washer? Thanks so much.

Yes, I saw the purple dye was in the sink when I washed them, but never gave it a thought that they would stain my washer door. What a senior moment! Has anyone else had a problem with these Rags in a Bag? I love some of their other products, but I'm very upset with this problem.

Try foam bathroom spray. it may not work but at least it won't hurt the finish. I'd spray it on and just let it slide down the door.

If that fails I'm wondering if wiping on dye remover would work?
