Removing Glue from Shoe Insole?

I glued a paper insole in my shoe and it wasn't straight so I tried to removed it and now I can not seem to get the glue off! Any answers would be great. Thanks.

I don't know much about glue, but in the future use "sticky dots," a sticky, rubbery craft product that will allow you to reposition the insole.

I would try using a blow dryer on it. The hot air might soften the glue so you can reposition the insole. Best wishes.

i went to the craft area of Joann Fabric and bought a small roll of adhesive back cork. I traced the ratty insole that pealed off very easily from my most comforable sandals onto the back of the cork.

carefully cut and fit it. Peal back the toe end a bit and line up the new insole, once aligned, peel back the rest and you will have a new insole from natural cork. Very comfortable!
