My mom got permanent marker on the driver seat of her car by accidentally dropping an opened marker! We thought she was doomed, but found on www.ehow.com specific instructions.

It says to take hairspray or rubbing alcohol (choice I went with). I used Q-tips and alcohol, rubbing it lightly until the end was black, then I would move to another clean end. It only took about 40 seconds for me to get out the complete 2 inch mark! It was amazing.

I have used hairspray on clothing before and had no luck, stick with alcohol. (08/19/2010)
