Removing Permanent Marker From Leather

I have a new leather purse and my granddaughter got Magic Marker on it. It is a beautiful cream leather. Please help me.

Try WD 40 or dabbing it out with rubbing alcohol. (12/17/2009)

I'd get a Q tip or skinny stick and wrap a bunch of cotton around it and dip in alcohol and squeeze out some of excess. Dab and turn cotton on spots so you always are putting a clean surface on the stain, not re-staining the surface. Repeat with clean cotton until gone. (12/18/2009)
