Removing Starch from a Jacket?

I sewed a ladies' jacket and used spray starch. Is there a way to get the starch removed without washing? Please help, thanks!

You either have to wash it out or it will eventually wear out. To wear it out, you might try putting it in a tumble dryer on no heat.

You could try misting it with water to break down the starch.
