Try hand sanitizer to remove the stitch wichery. This is what I used to remove it from my iron. Worked great.

I just made a mistake with the stitch witchery and the hand sanitizer definitely did work, I put a drop on a clean washcloth and it rubbed right off

Do you use the hand sanitizer on a hot iron or a cool iron?

I used Isopropyl Alcohol USP, 91% and it instantly took it off. I have a T-Fal Ultraglide Plus iron.
