I have an Emerson microwave that recently became only a big kitchen timer for some unknown reason. The cook function will not work. I unplugged it a couple times, once for over an hour, thinking that it would auto-reset but it didn't. What happened? How can I fix it?
Does anyone know how to adjust the door hinges on a Frigidaire Microwave oven Mod# FMV156DB,DS,DQ,Em. The oven doesn't work unless I raise the door manually once its closed.
My wonderful brother-in-law bought my hubby and I a new microwave at Goodwill. The only problem is it was missing the round glass turn plate and the ring inside. I found a glass microwave plate at Goodwill (75% off!). How can I replace the ring that spins the plate?
Does anyone know what causes the paint to begin to peel from the inside of your microwave. I have had 2 to do this. The first one was under the rollers and it managed to collect water under there so that explains that problem but the one I have now is beginning to flake off at the bottom where the back seam fits, I thought it was dirt.
I was trying to paint my white microwave to black. I used the appliance epoxy spray paint. However everything is turned black and I can't see any numbers on the microwave. What do I do now?
My husband put an aluminum foil pan in the microwave and there was a black burnt spot on the door. Can this be fixed? It is a new microwave/hood above the oven (3 months old) and I would really like to fix it instead of replacing the whole thing.
