I am looking for advice to repair a Swiffer Vac. It turns on but the noise it makes sounds like the battery is about to die and it doesn't produce any suction. It seems to run for quite a long time like this so I don't think it's the battery but possibly the motor?
I replace inexpensive ($100) bagless vacuum cleaners about every 3 years, figuring that I have saved that value in disposable bags. But, when my latest vacuum lost its power, thrift overcame expensive habits.
I have had the worst luck with charging things. Mostly my sweeper vacs. Are you supposed to leave it on the charger at all times when not in use? I do that and every sweeper I get seems to lose its charge faster and faster until it just doesn't charge anymore. But when I don't charge it, it doesn't work either! Help!
