How can I get the screen on my home stereo system to light up? or to start working?
Exactly (to the day) 2 years after purchasing it, our Samsung 46 inch TV went out. The satellite TV box is fine, but the picture had "hung" with the weather, so we decided to turn off the TV until the weather passed. Nothing else was affected, just the satellite picture.

VCR Showing a Distorted Picture
I haven't used our VCR in a long while so when I put a tape in I get this blue screen, then a distorted picture, then it flashes and the back to the blue screen. I cleaned the heads, tried another tape, checked connections and I get the same thing.
Problems Playing Recorded VCR Tapes
I am having an unusual problem with our 2 new digital VCRs (LG and JVC). All of a sudden, the picture will freeze and the voice will continue normally (LG). Or (JVC) both the picture and sound will stop (picture freeze, no sound). These were recorded on digital televisions. I managed to get the LG working again by unplugging it from the power source and then turning it on again. I thought to do this because when I pressed the eject button, the machine didn't respond. However, the JVC did not have a machine freezing up problem.
I have a Symphonic VCR/DVD that plays tapes great but when recording a TV show the picture rolls constantly. When I play a tape that has been recorded on a different VCR it plays the tape great. Does anyone know how to fix it or what the problem is?
I am trying to get my TVs to work on old fashion rabbit ear antennas and it is not working. I purchased the least expensive Phillips at Wal-mart and then a better one for $29.00. I can barely pick up ABC, PBS is ok and NBC is very snowy. Can someone give me advice on the type of antennae to use in a rural town?
We have a SONY big screen TV that we bought new 8 years ago. We are having some trouble with it now, and wondered if anyone else has had the problem, or knows what it might be. If you watch TV for awhile and then turn it off, and then in a few minutes turn it back on, it shuts off all by itself. Before it shuts itself off, the screen will flash bright green several times, then power right down on its' own.
My hdtv converter works great when it wants to but,sometimes it breaks up and freezes. it also says no signal sometimes. Can you help me fix it?
