I have a touch lamp that no longer responds to touch. It stays on all the time. Would it be OK to change the socket to a regular on/off socket? Or is there more to a touch lamp than just the sockets? I appreciate the advice.
How can I fix a lamp shade that leans to one side? I've tried rubber bands, cardboard, tape, etc. nothing helps. Any info will be appreciated. The lamp is the type that you put the bulb in after you put on the shade. Thank you.
Is it safe, possible to paint the inside of a lampshade? I have a pair that I love, but the inside is very glossy and the glare they give off when lit is blinding.
I bought an over-the headboard reading lamp a few months back. I love it, but the manufacturing quality is not so good. The inner plastic-type lining is cracked and breaking off, leaving an uneven light flow.
I have a table lamp where the light bulb has started to flicker in the socket. I have replaced the bulb several times with a brand new one, and each time it continues to flicker.
