I just tried the baby powder method with a very small knot in a very thin gold necklace and ended up with the original small knot and at the other end a very large knot. Other ideas?
Think out of the box and use unusual materials. I ran into some acrylic hair "hand braid" for 99 cents, and it's great for stringing my pendants! It's strong, trendy, the right width to string pendants, and a nice color, too! So now I have oodles of "cord" to string all those orphan pendants in my jewelry boxes. Just resurrected one!
I did a silly thing (unknowingly). I put my gold rings in alcohol to clean them and it changed their color to a bronzish color. Any hope for me to them back to normal?
