Rice and Beef Casserole
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 can mushroom soup
- 1/2 can tomato soup
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup dry rice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Brown ground beef. Strain fat if desired, and add onion. Saute' until the onions become transparent.
Add mushroom soup, tomato soup, and water. Mix well. Bring near a boil and then add rice. Cover tightly and simmer 30-45 minutes until rice is tender.
Serves 5 - 6.
