Riding Mower Won't Start?

I have a riding mower with a 16hp Enduro engine. The carburetor is getting plenty of gas. It will only start when I pour gas in the carb. So I put on a new carburetor and I still have to pour gas into the carb to get it to run. Can anyone help please?

You have a blockage in your fuel line or fuel filter. Sludge can do this. When gas is left in the mower it forms sludge. When the mower starts the sludge is forced through the fuel lines and gas filter. One of these is clogged and needs to be cleaned out or replaced.
