My brother has a 18 hp. Craftsman ride. It turns over, but doesn't start unless I put my hand over the air intake at the filter. Then it runs until I take off my hand.

Hello there my husband has solved the problem he was having the same problems hope this helps u he has two riders so he took the switch off that one and hooked it to the one that didn't work it started right up thanks to god for the knowledge hope this helps u by the way my husband name Von
