I just got about 30 roly pollies, and I put them in a big 10-gallon aquarium filled with dirt and leaves and a little bit of food, 3 lettuce leaves. I was wondering if there is a certain food, I have 3 dogs and a ton of poop, that makes them happier.
Also, how do I tell if a roly polly is pregnant and how long are they pregnant?

Actually... When a female is pregnant she will have whiteish/yellow oval shapes in the top half of her body. She will also give birth from the top of her body (chest area). She might not move for a little while after the babies are born, this is just because she is making sure she has a steady stream of breath. DO NOT MOVE HER after the babies are born, wait until most of them have their hard shells or are away from their mother more and more.
Hi there! I recently got a roly poly. What I feed them are foods that are moist on the inside like grapes, apples, or carrots.
And I just figured it out that my roly poly is pregnant. I've noticed that she's been hiding a lot so I was concerned. I flipped her over and noticed a yellow square on her belly. If you look VERY closely, you will see tiny little roly poly bodies in them. I don't know how long her pregnancy days last but I hoped this helped and I'm so sorry this answer is late...
I have a female roly poly and her babies were born yesterday so they're about 12 hours old. She will have a yellow stomach and if you look close enough, you will see eggs. I feed them bread, apple slices, carrots, and grapes and still alive. Hoped this helped...
they eat bread, carrots, paper and cardboard. I fed mine paper and they seem to be alive. And if your roly poly has white-yellow things in her tummy shes pregnant.
You can tell if a roly poly is pregnant by looking at it's tummy and if it has white-yellow squirmy thingamabobs in it's stomach it's pregnant.

When a roly polly is pregnant its stomach would be fat sometimes and its stomach would also be yellow when they have there babies the babies are usally clear and have a little black in the middle. No, there is not a certain food u have to feed them ill give u some stuff they can eat crumpled carboard, fish food, and fresh lettuce.
