Salt and pepper steak lightly, then dredge in flour and brown on both sides in a very small amount of fat. Blot pan of any remaining grease.
Open mushrooms and pour into pan, as well as juice, then add mushroom soup. Simmer on very low heat, stirring occasionally, for 2-4 hours.
Serve with cooked rice or mashed potatoes.

I make a similar dish but I use jarred beef gravy and cut up my own onions and mushrooms. Then I make it either in the oven or in the crockpot and serve with mashed potatoes and good crusty bread. Yum!
