Scenery: Smokey Mountains Pines (Tennessee)

This picture is of a pine forest in the Tennessee Smokey Mountains. My family and I climbed to a man-made look out point. The top was at least 10 degrees colder than the parking area had been!

The pines smelled wonderful, like Christmas. We came from Florida, so it was a real treat. We even saw breaks in the brush along the wide concrete walkway. We wondered if bears had slept there that morning, because the pavement would be warm.
