I have the sweetest male cat that's been fixed. We adopoted him from the Humane Society when he was 9 months old. He is the biggest sweetheart ever, a big lover. There's just one problem here! He likes having sex with my fur blanket. I want my blanket back.
Here's your problem:
Sexual function in males is not just a function of the testicles, which have been removed. It is also an instinctive function of the brain. Some neutered male cats still engage in mating behaviors.
Bottom line, you're not getting your blanket back.
Lol...or buy him his own
yea.... I adopted a Tom cat who had just been neutered at one year old. He is a sweetheart, but he does love his minky blanket. Literally. Keep your sense of humor and know that you have lots of company. I have noticed that when he is engaging in this "behavior" most people just think he loves his blanky. I just smile and agree. I did buy him his own blanket.
