Photo Description
This knockout rose bud shimmers in the light. It is between the bud stage and blossom. It is beginning to unfold and will become a beautiful blossom of red petals beaming with the light that shines on them. My sister is seriously ill with hip implant complications and I send her pictures of my roses whether they are buds or blossoms and it makes her very happy to see the beauty that I am growing in my yard. As our mother used to tell us, give me flowers while I'm here not when I've gone to heaven. I have implemented that statement into my life by giving people smiles whether it be through a picture or a face-to-face smile and the roses remind me of that statement and it will always be a part of my life.
