Shrews in the House

I havent seen anything small and rodent like since I got a cat. Even my tubby cat went after them.

I don't think you have shrews. I think you have mice. Shrews live in dirt. They are blind and dig through the dirt feeling for grubs and earthworms. They cannot live in a home. For mice, get traps. They work better than poisen because the mice can't crawl off and die then smell. Also if you don't want to kill them get a compassionate trap and take them outside and turn them loose.
