Slow Cooker Pork Chops

This recipe is so easy. Just put it all in first thing in the morning and it will be done by supper. It tastes great too.

Ingredients:

  • 5 pork chops
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • one head cauliflower
  • 5 medium sized potatoes, peeled and diced

Directions:

Wash pork chops and put into the slow cooker. Add a pinch of salt and 1 tsp. of pepper onto them.

Add the onion diced, then dump the can of mushroom soup on top of the pork.

Then add your potatoes and cauliflower into a separate spot in cooker. Let it cook for the day and your pork will just melt in your mouth.

Servings: 5
Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Cooking Time: 8 Hours

Sounds delicious but I have a question. You wrote, "...then dump the can of mushroom soup on top of the pork. Then add your potatoes and cauliflower into a separate spot in cooker."

What do you mean by "a separate spot in the cooker"? Since the mushroom soup is a liquid, it spreads throughout the bottom of the pot. Where would there be a separate spot to put the potatoes and cauliflower? Should I suspend them on a rack so that they don't touch the soup or pork chops?

Thanks.
