I love barley in stews etc. and I have just bought a slow cooker. Does anyone have any recipes, with barley as a main ingredient, for use in a slow cooker? I love this site for tips, etc. Thanks.

As a child we always had pearl barley in stews. I married an Irishwoman who never used it. I too would like to see some stew recipes with barley
I agree with Lewis, that recipe looks good. I think you could adapt any soup that had beans, rice or quinoa and just substitute barley instead.
