I had a short in my fuse box and now my stove doesn't work and the dryer motor works, but the heating element and timer don't work.

My first impulse, if I were you, would be to call an electrician. If he/she can't remedy the problem, perhaps these appliances have been wrecked by the electrical short. Call an appliance repair person to diagnose those problems.
