Stretching Frosting

I wouldn't have believed this but it works! If you whip store bought frosting, with a mixer, it will double in size. It is light, easy to work with and frosts double the amount of cake or cupcakes.

Also, if you microwave that store bought frosting, it will become liquid. You can then use it warm to dip pretzels, cake cubes, marshmallows or whatever. The the frosting will harden and make a "shell". Fun to try.

Stretching Frosting

It also makes the frosting lighter and fluffier and much nicer to work with. Love this tip, use it all the time.
