| Thanksgiving Recipe Ideas
I need some new inspiration. What does your Thanksgiving Day menu include? I am looking for ideas from main dish, to sides, to dessert etc. (Links to recipes online if you have them would be great as well.) Many thanks.

Might be a little early for this one, but Thanksgiving will be here before we know it, along with it, lots of left-overs!

| Recipe to Bring to Thanksgiving Dinner
I am attending a family Thanksgiving dinner and I need ideas as to what to bring. They do not make a traditional Thanksgiving meal; I never know what they are making. And we will be driving about 2 hours away for this dinner.

| Cranberry Cake
This is such a festive cake for either Thanksgiving or Christmas and so moist. My son who does not care much for cranberries, likes this cake. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs with sugar until slightly thickened and light in color, about 5 minutes.

| Crockpot Pumpkin Butter

This is my own recipe. I didn't want to make one using refined sugar and this came out so yummy and creamy. If you are making this for diabetics, replace the maple syrup with more agave nectar.

Grind cranberries; add sugar and let stand 2 hours. Fold in Cool Whip, marshmallows, pineapple, cranberries (use juice of pineapple and cranberries), and nuts.

Beat eggs slightly. Mix in remaining ingredients, except pecans. Then add the nuts. Pour into unbaked shell and bake at 400 degrees F. for 15 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350 degrees F.

Simple, few ingredients, sweet, and different! Pumpkins are in season, so it's perfect!

| Winter Squash Casserole
This is one of those dishes that lets you know that the seasons have changed, finally. Winter squash, which includes pumpkin, acorn, Hubbard, turban, butternut, and so many more, are all so very good in their own right, but this is so good.

| Mema's Pumpkin Pie
I am from the mountains of NC near Asheville. This is best pumpkin pie you will ever eat! My Mema actually used what she called "Candy Roaster", which is actually squash that they always grew in their garden. I don't garden so I use pumpkin and have even used canned pumpkin.
