I realize that prices in everything have gone through the roof but if you can buy an additional turkey while prices are relatively reduced for the upcoming Thanksgiving, it will be to your advantage later on.

Shop Preview Sale Before Thanksgiving
Most department stores prepare for the big Day After Thanksgiving sale by setting up the sale a few days early. You can often get exactly the same savings if you shop on Wednesday before Thanksgiving and you don't have to battle nearly the same crowds. fletcher

Cranberry Buying
Buy cranberries early in the season and put them straight into the freezer. The closer you get to the holidays the more expensive they get. Frozen cranberries can be used just like fresh in all recipes. By Linda
