Stay Hydrated with Diluted Fruit Juices
We are all told to drink more water and stay hydrated but I know I get bored with plain water very quickly. I've found that you can make great tasting flavored water simply by diluting good quality bottled fruit juices.

Reuse Food Containers for Packed Lunches
Save your plastic containers from store bought items to reuse at home. My husband uses butter bowls to take soups, spaghetti, etc. to work. Then throws the bowl away and has nothing to keep up with.

Shamrock Cake
This is an 8 inch white homemade cake with lemon filling for a former priest. My husband and I try to stop in and pay him a visit during Christmas time and his birthday. He's Irish so I drew some tiny shamrocks with a writing tip.

Use Pressurized Oil Spray Bottle for Baking Pans
When greasing cookie sheets, bread pans etc. I have been using sprays such as Pam and their generic counterparts. But they build up over time as a brown gunk on my pans, and I have to take a scrubber to get it off. I have discovered a solution.

Add Parmesan Rind to Soups
Take a tip from the Italians and don't throw away the rind of your expensive slab of Parmesan cheese. Add it to soups and stocks (particularly for risotto) for delicious flavour.
