Toilet Paper Tube to Protect Seedling Roots

Silver Post Medal for All Time! 433 Posts

Beans and peas do not like their roots disturbed, and may not do well when transplanting them. Use an empty toilette paper roll to plant. Take the tube and make 3 cuts about a third of the way along the edge of the tube, to make flaps. Push flaps in to the center, push them to keep inside. Fill with dirt and start your seeds. When you are ready to plant in the ground keep them in the cardboard. It will disintegrate on its own.
