Treating a Kitten for Round Worms?

I just found round worms on my kitten's butt. How do I get rid of them? I don't have the money to take her to the vet. It has to be able to be given to a 13 week old kitten.

Check with your county about free or inexpensive programs they may have to help you with taking proper care of your kitten.
In the meantime, try giving a bath with original Dawn liquid soap - be sure to use warm water and rinse well.
Check for help on Google if you are unfamiliar with how to give your kitten a bath.

Are you sure they are roundworms? Usually what you see on a cats behind are tapeworms. they look like little pieces of white rice. Roundworms look like pieces of string.

Drs Foster and Smith sell different wormers on the internet. You will need a different wormer for tape worms than roundworms.

I have been reading about apple cider vinegar an it's benefits to cats. A little, 1 tsp to large water bowl, will help get rid of parasites, worms, in cats and dogs and help repel fleas over time. If they don't like taste in water you can add to food. This will only help for roundworms not tapeworms. Tapeworms can only be rid of by medication which you can get on Amazon on Sterms and Foster- 2 good affordable sites.

I grew up on a farm with many dogs and cats . This may sound a bit harsh but I guarantee overnight results . Have someone that chews tobacco hold the pets mouth open and spit some juice in the pets mouth then hold it shut so the pet will swallow .

The worms will start to die and leave your pet within the hour .

Supermarkets usually have Wormers for Cats & Dogs. Best ingredients include Praziquantel & Pyrantel Embonate. Same ingred. as Drontal. Needs to say All Wormer or Kills Tapeworms very important, as some don't. You can dissolve/squash some tab in drop of hot water & add some Food. Do another bit of tab later. If cat won't accept I use Insulin syringes from Chemist & give liquid tab by side of mouth. Or Vets will admin. tabs down neck if having difficulty. But you can't see worms but they have them every 2-3 mths. again.

My name is Dr. R.j. If you don't have enough money to take your cat to the vet then you can give your cat childern's antibiotic!

I heard that worms hate garlic! If you put a little bit of garlic in your cats food, after a few days the tape worms should be gone!

Garlic is toxic to cats. NEVER GIVE A CAT GARLIC!

No--your cat will suffer--no garlic--use a little Braggs (with the mother) only with warm water and baking soda in a spray bottle --the fleas will leave
