Trench Composting

No more compost piles for me! I found the lazy gardener's way to enrich the soil. Buy a used blender at a garage sale. Set it out on the kitchen counter, put all the veggie/fruit scraps in it. At the end of the day, whirl it up with added water as necessary.

Now take it out to the garden and find a thirsty plant. Dig a hole right next to it and drop in the mix. Cover with soil and you are done! No animals will dig it up because it is pulverized and almost immediately incorporated into the ground.
