Truck Heater Not Working?

I have a 2002 Chevy Silverado. I turn the heater knob and nothing comes on. Can you tell me what is going on? Help, it's cold here in western New York.

Possible fuse? My husbands silverado has 2 places for the fuses. One is in the cab and the other under the hood.

Sometimes air bubbles get in a heating system. You have to make sure it's flushed out.

The thermostat might be burned out. The heat can't work until, it is replaced.
