Tuna Mushroom Puffs

Tuna, cheese and mushrooms are my husbands favorite. He loves baked goodies and so I am putting this recipe down for our Father's Day celebration.

Steps:

  1. Saute onion and garlic.
  2. Add mushroom and stir fry for one minute.
  3. Add in the tuna and milk then add salt and pepper to taste. Let simmer for another minute.
  4. Ad
  5. Gradually sprinkle grated cheese on the mixture.
  6. Ad
  7. Stir the mixture until thick and sticky as the cheese melts.
  8. Set aside and let cool.
  9. Ad
  10. Divide and cut pre-made dough into six.
  11. Flatten each dough and fill each with 1 teaspoonful of tuna mushroom mixture.
  12. Ad
  13. Seal and roll carefully into balls.
  14. Place them in muffin or cupcake molds. It is best ti use muffin molds so the bread puffs into a mushroom shape.
  15. Ad
  16. Cover and let rest for 20-30 minutes.
  17. Bake for 20 minutes at 200 C.
  18. Serve and enjoy the cheesy tuna, puffy sensation of mushrooms.

This sounds delicious! Has anyone tried making these using won-ton wrappers? I understand a lot of low-carb recipes use won-ton wrappers.

That's also a great idea. I have tried sardines on spring roll wraps Haven't tried won-ton yet
