Two Ingredient Biscuits Recipe

These biscuits are made with whipping cream and self rising flour. These are the only two ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 cup whipping cream

Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. Combine flour and cream in a mixing bowl, stirring just until blended. The dough will be a little stiff.
  3. Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface and knead 10 times.
  4. Roll to 1/2-inch thickness and cut with a 3-inch cutter.
  5. Place biscuits close together on a lightly greased baking sheet.
  6. Bake 10 minutes. Makes 12 biscuits.

Ah shucks thought I would learn a new recipe. My greatgrandmother taught me this and I'm almost 60 yrs old ...it's a no fail recipe. You can also use muffin tins or mini loaf tins for this. Other options are to add some honey (creates a sweeter biscuit), add in fruits, grated cheese with bacon bits (make sure you cook bacon untill done -then drain well and grate cheese small), cottage chesse can be used in place of cream.
