Use a large deli platter to put underneath a large plant, it will
help keep the floor cleaner and prevent water spillage.

1-Why not reuse the Deli platter the same way several times when you have outdoor or indoor parties.
2-If you are an artist type why not paint a picture on the platter
3-You could also use that platter to set some of your potted plants on it outside.
4-You could make it a portable game board. Draw your favorite games on the platter so the kids can play them outside,with homemade lids(tops) off a variety of differant bottles.
5-You could stick the tray under you car to catch oil leaks in your garage
6-Maybe use that tray as a play desk for your children in the car,
I would imagine if you lean the tray at an angle they could write or read from it glue a ruler about halfway up the tray to hold books or paper.
7-You also maybe be able to put maybe 500 piece puzzles together on that tray, That way you can store the half way done puzzle for another day.
8-Imagine atleast 3 children all fingerpainting at once on that tray. No paper! Just rinse the tray off when they are done.
9-That tray could be useful for doing differant crafts that you know will take you several days. store the craft and tray till you are ready to work on it again.
10-If you are sorting something. Maybe checking the Childrens Halloween candy,Or counting and wrapping change from you piggy bank.

Veggie and fruit trays from the grocery deli are FANTASTIC storage for small items. Great for cosmetics, desk items, craft items, toiletries, etc. :)

I keep deli containers to put cakes, cookies and other baked goods for family events, food for families after funerals, potluck dinners, camping and picnics. The rectangle shaped containers can hold items like deviled eggs, cut veggies and dip and other foods.
I have used the deli trays the same way that I got it. I have also used it to protect pies,cheesecake and cookies. I have used them to give cookies as a present. Of course we decorated the cover and used a food doilie (sp?) under the cookies or other baked items. I have had some of the same deli trays for over ten years.
